How do I enter?
Make an original U certificate film, maximum 2 minutes long including credits.

Make sure you have permission from all performers, contributors and music and have credited them in the credits. Do not use any commercial or published material (apart from royalty-free music). Unless you have permissions.

Upload your film in high resolution to a video-sharing site (YouTube, Vimeo, dailymotion…) Make sure the link works.
Register your entry on the online Eat My Shorts portal. Register Now complete with any music in the Music Reporting section.
All entries must be registered and uploaded before 6pm on 25 September. DEADLINE NOW EXTENDED to FRIDAY 30TH OCTOBER
Wait for an email to say your film has been admitted for competition.

What can I win?
Five shortlisted films for the main prize AND three shortlisted films for the Into Film Schools Prize will be announced in November and uploaded to NCC’s website www.newcastlecinema.org.
The Top 3 films and Into Film Schools Prize winners will be announced at NCC’s Full Moon Film Festival 2020 in November and all shortlisted films will be screened at the festival.
1st Prize – £300 worth of vouchers from WEX Photo Video Belfast
2nd prize – £150 worth of vouchers from WEX Photo Video Belfast
3rd Prize – £75 worth of vouchers from WEX Photo Video Belfast

Into Film Schools Prize - £300 worth of vouchers from WEX Photo Video Belfast
The prizes are vouchers from WEX Photo Video Belfast. They can only be redeemed in a WEX store. No cash alternative is available. Winners from Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland can order items from the Belfast store to be delivered to addresses north or south of the border.
