The Into Film Festival returns this November, and bookings are now live! Running from 7-24 November, the Into Film Festival is the largest free youth film festival in the UK, and there are hundreds of special events and screenings available for you and your learners.
Whether you're a primary or secondary teacher, or even a home educator, the Into Film Festival offers an opportunity to bring young people to experience the magic of the big screen experience for free. As well as thousands of film screenings, we'll also be hosting numerous special events and Q&As with the talent that brought these fantastic films to life, further enhancing the cinema-going experience and providing a special insight into the film industry.
And, as ever, the Festival includes SEN and autism-friendly screenings, as well as more screenings for deaf and hearing-impaired people than ever before. We aim to ensure that the big screen experience is accessible to as many young people as possible.

Chinonye Chukwu’s powerful biography of famed Chicagoan activist Mamie Till-Bradley pivots around the earth-shattering performance of Danielle Deadwyler as the grief-stricken mother at the centre of this tragic true story.
Till-Bradley’s fierce, unflinching pursuit of justice following the murder of her 14 year old son Emmet is depicted here in raw, emotional filmmaking. Elegantly directed, this is a vital work, recounting one dedicated mother’s unyielding quest for the truth against a legal system that looks to derail her at every turn. Powerful stuff.

Finally, a pre-teen movie worth its salt. Based on Judy Blume’s 1970s novel, this coming-of-age comedy beautifully evokes that washing machine churn of fear & yearning that comes between childhood & adulthood.
11 year old Margaret (Abby Ryder Fortson) moves from NYC to the ‘burbs with her family, to make new friends while making sense of her new feelings & bodily changes.

A rather special double-bill, based on Julia Donaldson’s enchanting creation - meet Mouse (James Corden), a smart wee chap, protected from peckish predators by his own vivid imagination, and seemingly fabricated tales of a terrifying beast, whom we soon find out is actually very real indeed!
In the follow up feature, a brave young monster hunts for the legendary Big Bad Mouse, even though her dad has warned her against going into the deep, dark wood. She is determined not to be frightened though, even when tracks in the snow lead her to a trio of creatures she’s never seen before! Delightful animation.

Unfortunately, though, Gru sadly finds himself instead the mortal enemy of the apex of evil. Just another day then, for a criminal genius.
