***SUMMER PROGRAMME - ANNOUNCEMENT***

Dear Friends of NCC,

To say it has been a tough few weeks at NCC recently would be something of an understatement – it has just been a nightmare not being able to open our doors & welcome everyone back in to start watching great films together again as we had planned. Much excited preparation went into creating our Summer programme, and we were all super-excited to be finally bringing awesome movies back to Main Street. 

But with rising Covid cases on our doorstep, we have been taking the awful decisions to postpone each screening so far this Summer, as we believe, wholeheartedly & above everything else, in protecting both our audience members & our valiant volunteers.

We now find ourselves halfway through our proposed Summer Programme , and so, taking stock of many conversations we have had with friends & families of the Cinema, we having begrudgingly decided to cancel the remainder of it, with the intention of reopening with a revised version of it in September. Trust us, we do not do this lightly, and really hope our loyal audience members can understand our reasons.

Numbers are still high locally, and we firmly believe in not rushing to reopen, until we can feel completely secure & comfortable with the viewing experience at NCC. We may be perceived as over-cautious, but we’d rather that than take risks before we feel sure it's the right time to open. 

Obviously, anyone that had purchased any tickets for our proposed forthcoming screenings can get full refunds via the usual channels. And do believe us, when we say we’re sorry, but we hope you understand.

NCC Kids

In addition to our main monthly screenings we will be hosting special presentations especially for our younger audiences. NCCKids focuses on classic family entertainment from Snow White to Shrek, and everything in between.
