Join us for a celebration of music and cinema with this combination of film and live music. At 8.00pm we will be showing ‘Summer of Soul’ which features live footage from 1969 celebrating black culture, history, fashion and music combined with live music from ‘Funk Tank’ kicking off at 10.15pm

During six weeks of the summer of 1969, 100 miles south of Woodstock, The Harlem Cultural Festival was filmed in Mount Morris Park. This celebration of African-American music and culture was never publicised...until now.

Classic Detroit era Motown convincingly delivered with passion, confidence and a huge helping of Soul.
