Gaza Surf Club

To mark International Human Rights Day (10 Dec), NCC in co-operation with Amnesty International present a glimpse of life in Gaza a few years before the current catastrophe.

We meet Ibrahim, Sabah & Mohammed and their fellow surf enthusiasts whose impressible love of the surf provides a source of freedom in their walled-in lives. Made over five years, the ‘day-in-a-life’ documentary style shows us how the military blockade and internal social norms impinge on their passion and how they individually reconcile themselves to their situation. Thoughtful and thought-provoking.
