Join us this August as we welcome national treasure and comedy royalty Roy Walker BACK to Newcastle Community Cinema!
Fresh from a sold out show, and a standing ovation no less, at this years Belfast CQAF….The King of Deadpan, who will be affectionally remembered as host of ITV game show, CATCHPHRASE, is still renowned for being amongst the most wry, dry and spry comic guv’nors on the circuit today.
Roy has continued to do a lot of TV over the years, but these days he can be found touring major venues and universities around the country and playing to sell out audiences.
Roy, for whom we can legitimately use the word ‘Legend’, brings his unique brand of Northern Irish humour to Newcastle for a one off show with an evening filled with comedy and life stories. Roy will be supported by Paddy McGaughey & Conor Keys…
Paddy is a regular performer and MC has been amusing the country with his quirky quips for quite some time. Paddy is a charming comedian, mixing wide-eyed country innocence with worldly cynicism. Plus he does lots of gags. Good ones, too. He has headlined all over Ireland and is the winner of several stand-up contests. He recently performed as support to Tim McGarry, Jake O’Kane and has also supported Eddie Izzard in Dublin.
Conor Keys is a comedian, singer, playwright and one half of weekly podcast ‘Deckchair and Yumz’ with fellow comedian Micky Bartlett. Conor is resident MC of Daly's Comedy Club and has hosted many acts as well as being support for acts such as Colin Murphy, Shane Todd, Ardal O’Hanlon, Tom Stade, Daniel Sloss, Aisling Bea, Neil Delamere, Tony Law and Kevin McAleer to name just a few…
Soooo a night not to be missed from a trio of fantastic comedians!
Book now to avoid disappointment!
