The Good Boss (El buen patrón)

We head off to Spain for this month’s World screening. Javier Bardem is in top form as the slimy, condescending owner of a provincial company that makes industrial scales that claims to treat its workforce like family. He has his sights set on a prestigious business excellence award but trouble is brewing, threatening to knock him off course. Fernando León de Aranoa’s tragicomedy is a delicious social satire on corporate corruption and capitalism.
