This body-swapping animé tells the story of two teenagers, Taki & Mitsuha, who live miles apart but on certain days, Taki and Mitsuha wake up in each other's bodies and must live the entire day as the other, reverting to their own bodies when they go to sleep at night. This stunning animé dazzles with its photo-realist views of Tokyo and rural Japan alike, earning Director Makato Shinkai the moniker of ‘the new Miyazaki.’
