UNDER THE VOLCANO

As is customary, we love to finish a Full Moon with a music movie, and this time we’ve got a real zinger of a doc for you to conclude things - the story of the greatest music studio of the 80s: George Martin’s legendary AIR studios in beautiful Montserrat.

On this incredible Caribbean island paradise, under the shadow of an active volcano, a who’s who of 80s A-list musicians created some of their most loved & lucrative material: The Stones, McCartney, Dire Straits, Police, Elton, EWF, Stevie Wonder….

Gracie Otto’s deep dive documentary unearths the creative process - Elton John fans will find his manic work ethic fascinating - and shows how the lush environment both exacerbated and ameliorated tensions between band members. A must watch for any music lover.
